Role description

The Brand Manager for the Oncology Product is a strategic leader responsible for maximizing business performance and driving sustainable volume growth. This role will focus on robust lifecycle management and capitalizing on new indications or market segments. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative solutions and maintain the highest standard of execution and strategic excellence through this critical phase.

Typical Accountabilities

  • Strategic Brand Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy for the gynecologic cancer product, fully aligned with global brand direction and designed to navigate the environmental challenges.
  • Lifecycle Management: Proactively drive lifecycle management initiatives, including support for indication expansions, value-added services, differential messaging, and innovative strategies to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Market Analysis and Insight: Conduct in-depth market analyses to assess competitive threats, treatment landscapes, evolving customer needs, and opportunities in emerging segments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, medical, market access, regulatory, and corporate affairs teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Track brand performance against strategic goals using established KPIs; provide insights to guide timely tactical pivots.
  • Budget Management: Effectively manage the brand budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and return on investment, with agility to adjust spend as market conditions change.

  • Analytical Excellence: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Forecasting Expertise: Proficiency in developing and managing accurate sales forecasts and market projections to inform strategic decisions.
  • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely both in Korean and English.
  • Innovative Thinking: Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative solutions and campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

- Language: Fluent English communication skills (speaking/writing)

- Work Experience: At least 3 years in pharmaceutical field including marketing career
